南丁格尔誓约
余谨于上帝及公众前宣誓，愿吾一生纯洁忠诚服务，勿为有损无益之事，勿取服或故用有害之药，当尽予力以增高吾职业之程度，几服务时所知所闻之个人私事及一切家务均当谨守秘密，予将以忠诚勉助医生行事，并专心致志以注意授予护理者之幸福。
本誓约是南丁格尔为护士所立的誓约。
洛伦斯·南丁格尔(FlorenceNightingale，1820一1910年)，世界著名护理专家，近代护理教育的创始人，护理学的奠基人。出生于英国。1851年在德国一所医院接受护理训练。她所撰写的《医院札记》和《护理札记》两书，以及100余篇论文，均被认为是护理教育和医院管理的重要文献。1860年在英国圣多马医院首创近代护理学校。她的教育思想和办学经验被欧美和亚洲国家所采用。为了纪念她，英国10英镑钱币的票面上印有她的肖像。
I solemnly pledge myself before God and in the presence of this assembly,
to pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully.
I will abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous, and will not take or knowingly administer any harmful drug.
I will do all in my power to maintain and elevate the standard of my profession,
and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to my keeping and
all family affairs coming to my knowledge in the practice of my calling.
With loyalty will I endeavor to aid the physician in his work,
and devote myself to the welfare of those committed to my care.
